The Law Office of Ronn Bisbee is private law firm. Our firm is unique, in that we focus exclusively on the enforcement of family, child, and spousal support orders.
Having litigated several thousand child support cases in California Superior Courts, we have the knowledge and expertise required to get the job done effectively and efficiently.
As a member of the Child Support Enforcement Council (CSEC) and the National Child Support Enforcement Association (NCSEA), our firm is active in child support community, keeping current with new child support statutes and case law.
In order to be effective at enforcing child support orders you must be intimately familiar with federal and state child support laws and enforcement remedies, and understand how to implement the right enforcement remedies. You must also have the resources to do it.
Although government enforcement agencies (IV-D agencies) will enforce your order free of charge, they are typically short-staffed and under-funded. Often times your case will not get the attention it requires and deserves.
Most family law firms do not have the knowledge and experience to enforce support orders, particularly in the area of interstate enforcement. Private law firms are also not likely to enforce your order on a contingency basis, either. You will pay a large retainer fee up front, and they will keep it, whether they collect or not.
